Since 1992, The Friends of Valley-Wide Foundation (“Friends”) has been supporting the youth in our community. We have been recognized by the California Association of Recreation and Park District and the California Parks and Recreation Society for our fundraising efforts, program successes and from making sure that every child can participate in recreational programs by removing financial barriers that inhibit people from participating, as well as funding tangible recreational amenities benefiting the community.

Who are Friends of Valley-Wide?
We are persons with a strong connection to the community and the purpose an active Recreation and Park District plays in our neighborhoods. Our members are engaged in the broader community through integrated activities, programs, and volunteer work. We work with our valued partners to provide the greatest opportunities for all. From doctors and peace officers to business owners and educators, our non-profit foundation is composed of community leaders who came together to help Valley-Wide Recreation create a community and volunteer their time and talent towards its success.
